THE STORYTELLERS
THE STORYTELLERS
Every powerful story starts with a passionate team. MoveMe is home to filmmakers, producers, and creatives who see the world through a lens of possibility. We bring lived experience, artistic excellence, and deep empathy to everything we make. But more than that, we show up—with heart, with vision, and with an unwavering commitment to impact.
These are the humans behind the camera and the movement behind the mission.
Briana Evigan – Actor | Producer | Global Connector
Bringing Stories of the Voiceless to the World As the co-founder of MoveMe, and roots as a producer and actor in the film industry, I’ve found my deepest purpose in telling meaningful stories that often go unheard. MoveMe is more than a production company, it’s a vehicle to connect the dots across continents, cultures, and causes. By channeling 50% of all net profits from MoveMe back into Abundant Village, our nonprofit arm, we are scaling regenerative solutions and grassroots transformation in communities around the world.
My Role: Connecting the Dots At Abundant Village, my role is to build the global foundation by putting together values-aligned teams in key countries, supporting leaders on the ground, and amplifying stories that can shift hearts and systems. I believe that stories have the power to awaken change, whether they unfold on screen, in a song, or around a campfire. My mission is to find those stories and translate them into film, television, or documentary content that can ripple across the globe.
What Makes Me Tick: I come alive watching human transformation, when someone chooses hope, saves an animal, protects a patch of land, or dances for the first time in years. I live for storytelling, music, movement, and magic. I believe deeply in the power of dreaming, of never giving up, and of bringing others along the journey. Whether it’s discovering a village to make abundant, empowering local guardians of the land, or building teams across borders, my passion is to inspire others to go beyond their dreams.
Career Highlights: Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked as an actor in successful studio films like Step Up 2: The Streets and several other films for Summit ent, Lionsgate, Netflix and Disney. I’ve collaborated with legends like Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino on the From Dusk ‘til Dawn series 2. One of my greatest accomplishments to date has been producing and co-directing our completed pilot for MoveMe South Africa, a docuseries that lifts local stories of resilience and regeneration. With eyes on several regions worldwide, I’m committed to scaling creative, regenerative solutions and using storytelling as the fuel that lights the way.

Albertus Louw - Filmmaker | Conservation Advocate | Storyteller
Area of focus: As a filmmaker and storyteller, I focus on crafting stories for both short and long formats, especially in the documentary realm. I work as a producer-director with a strong cinematography background, skilled in both scriptwriting and editing. My passion for education and mentorship is leading me more and more into these areas, especially with a vision to train and mentor young people from the communities we work in, empowering them to tell their own stories through film and media. I also bring this approach into my role at Abundant Village, where storytelling and community media are key tools in our work.
What makes me tick: People, cultures, regenerative solutions, stories and adventure. I’m especially inspired by how humans can move closer to our true place on this planet - in harmony with ourselves, one another and the natural world.
Career highlights: Working with communities in disaster zones, from war-torn areas in Africa and the Middle East to earthquakes and tsunamis in Turkey and Indonesia, has shaped my understanding of the human spirit and the power of storytelling. My media work has taken me across the globe, finding stories about people and the planet, often in places of deep change or resilience.
As a filmmaker, I am a South African creative producer, presenter, and storyteller with deep roots in environmental and cultural media. My most well-known work was on SABC’s long-running environmental TV series 50|50, where I produced and presented stories about conservation and community impact. I’ve also shaped national campaigns, broadcast stories and documentaries that blend soulful storytelling with strategic intent.
I now split my time between filmmaking and my role at Abundant Village, where I lead grassroots nature-positive development and storytelling initiatives in the communities we partner with.
