This pilot village will be created and run locally. Business, technology, and environmental resources will be sourced within the region or through the MoveMe network to find existing, cost-effective solutions that can scale to meet the needs of different sized communities.
Abundant Village can be an economic engine for a community to increase health, wellness, and prosperity.
Our goal is to create or inspire 100 villages around the world over the next decade.

This is What We’re Doing
We are building our pilot Abundant Village in Bushbuckridge, South Africa.
In partnership with the Shangaan Royal Family, 10 hectares (22 acres) in the Mpumalanga Province near Kruger National Park, South Africa, has been allocated to the project. Locals will own and operate the land and also provide the services.
But We Need Help…
We are seeking $1,200,000 in funding or through the donation of products or services to complete the pilot village, Funding will cover the hard costs for infrastructure, energy, water, and food technologies, buildings, housing units, landscaping, technology, security, initial staffing, and supplies to ensure a successful launch of this pilot village. Funding can be equity, grants, or tax-deductible donations.
As with every good business model, we are actively creating strategies to mitigate risk and accelerate outcomes.
The 22 acres has been granted to the NPC for the initial Abundant Village which reduces land acquisition costs
There are no Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) required since the initial village is on tribal land.
Land planning and architectural design has been donated by the team at BSB Design.
The land has water and we will begin digging water wells in Q4, 2022.
Donations of products and solutions will reduce funding needs.
But instead of doing it all at once, we are going to go step by step. We need to raise $50,000 to complete phase one of the project.
We are focusing on three simple things to get our pilot Abundant Village into motion; water, food and energy security.
Our first focus is on water security: Funds will be used to dig a well powered by solar.
The second focus is food security: We will establish resources that ensure food security on the land. including aquaponics systems, regenerative agriculture initiatives and plant-based nutritional supplements.
The third focus is energy security: We will install renewable energy solutions (Solar, wind, and others) so that the community has access to clear, reliable energy.
In the second phase of building, we will build more of the elements essential to every village including security, housing, community center for education, computers and gatherings, wellness care, and job opportunities.
We want to install these three simple solutions first to serve communities with these essential resources and demonstrate the model so we can scale and repeat.
